Still in recovery, I was lurking on Twitter earlier this evening and saw that Ariana Osborne of Cartes Infernales had created a mix-tape for her wildly successful, soon-to-end Kickstarter.
What fun! I thought. I could easily create a set-list for my own Kickstarter. I set out immediately, only to quickly discover that I could think of almost no music that I like, and even less that fit with my story. I had one or two that I knew I wanted to include, but getting beyond those was like pulling teeth! I did finally loosen up, and I’ve got a little something for you to spin.
Each song has a little something to do with Prairie City Response, either in feel or in content. So crank it – there’s a lot of hustle and tussle in these tracks.
